At Twin Coves Park, there is a fee as well, but if you park right outside the gate you can enter North Shore Trail for free. There is a fee to enter Rockledge Park, but you can get on the trail from Murrell Park and Twin Coves Park. All three parks have trailheads and designated parking for the trail. Visitors can start either in Rockledge Park, Twin Coves Park, or Murrell Park. Located along the north side of Lake Grapevine, the path is 9-10 miles long with multiple access points. With 8 different trail options to pick from, everyone is bound to enjoy or break a sweat when they visit Oak Cliff. Oak Cliff Nature Preserve is a perfect destination for a long walk, bike ride or hike. Along the way it connects with different elementary schools and opportunities for fishing and swimming. The trail also runs along Spring Creek, and intersects with both the Chisolm trail and the Preston Ridge Trail. Bluebonnet Trail in PlanoĪppropriately named for the beautiful blooms that it sees in the Spring, Bluebonnet Trail is also an option for outdoor activity seekers in Plano. You can also find numerous park benches are also scattered along the trail. There are numerous park benches scattered across the trail to enjoy the views as well! Paved parking is available at Central/Renner Road. Along the trail, visitors will see views of Spring Creek and heavily wooded paths. The trail is located at the southeast corner of the Central Expressway and Renner Road and is nearly 5 miles long. Located in Richardson is the Spring Creek Nature Area Trail. In addition to the 9 mile biking, hiking or walking trail, White Rock Lake also provides visitors the opportunity to birdwatch, admire the wetlands, enjoy a picnic in designated areas or utilize the boat rentals and kayaks. Located close to Downtown Dallas the White Rock Lake Trail is one of the most used parks in the Metroplex. The trail is 3.5 miles long and is open to jogging, walking, inline skating and biking The path runs through the Uptown and Oak Lawn areas of Dallas, and connects Dallas to White Rock Lake.
